Enjoy the Delicious Sprouts with Chestnuts
Requirements for the dish
a) Fresh chestnuts- three fourth pound
b) Unsalted butter- two tablespoons
c) Olive oil- one tablespoon
d) Brussels sprouts- two pounds. The sprouts must be trimmed & sliced into two halves
e) Black pepper. It must be a little salty and should be freshly grounded.

h) Turkey Stock- one fourth cup.

How to cook this dish
a) Firstly preheat the oven. Firstly the oven is heated to around four hundred degrees Fahrenheit. Now the next step comes the slicing of the chestnut. It is sliced using a chestnut knife. It is sliced in the shape of “x”.
b) Now place the sliced pieces on a baking dish. The side which is cut should be placed up that is facing the upper side. Now comes the roasting of the flesh. The flesh is roasted for around twenty or twenty five minutes. It should be made sure that the flesh should have turned really soft and edible.
c) Now comes the step of removing the dish from the oven. Now remove all the shells from the dish and then discard off all the shells. Do not remove any part of the chestnut because it is the main part of the dish.
d) Now heat oil in a pan and add Brussels sprouts to it. Now add salt & pepper and cook it for around 15 minutes.
e) Now add the roasted chestnuts. Then Add vinegar, turkey stock & sugar. Cook the dish for 5 minutes and serve hot.
