A stroke is a medical exigency and can be the reason for permanent neurological impairment, complications and even death. It is one of the leading reason for disability in adults in the US and Europe. It is the second largest life taking cause in the world and is a leading cause of death worldwide. A healthy and fit body keeps away many dangerous diseases, such as diabetes, cancer and coronary heart disease.  It is also important to lead a healthy lifestyle to safeguard you from stroke.  This has proved by a recent study. This study proved that following a fit and healthy lifestyle will lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, diabetes and cancer.

This can be due to blockage of blood vessels and can lead to dysfunctioning of the affected area, necrosis, inability to know and comprehend speech, or visual field impairment. It is also important to include fruits and vegetables that are rich source of fiber as well as legumes, nuts, fish and chicken. As far as possible trans fats and saturated fats should be avoided. Those who follow a healthy lifestyle are less prone to an ischemic stroke when compared to those who do not follow a healthy lifestyle. A fit and healthy body has a decreased risk of dangerous diseases.
