Useful Tips On How To Treat Those Split Ends
Most people with longer hair often have problems with split ends. Even dough you cut your hair regularly, the problem keeps coming back. What can you do?
First, you must understand what split ends are and why they appear. Dying your hair with harmful chemicals, experimenting with hairstyles and random cutting of your hair causes split ends.
Here is a whole list of causes for split ends: dry scalp skin, UV rays, harmful chemicals, aggressive dyes, lack of care, aggressive combing, metal combs and brushes, combing while hair is still wet, sleeping on silk pillows and using hair dryer too often.
I give you some really simple advices on how to achieve healthy and shiny hair.
Moisturize. Almost all the shampoo manufacturers say that their product moisturizes your hair but that is just a propaganda. So, first thing you must do is to find a shampoo which really moisturizes. Also, a good conditioner does wonders so spend a few extra bucks.
Wash your hair thoroughly. Put the conditioner, wrap your hair into a clean towel and leave it for ten to fifteen minutes. Wash the conditioner and leave your hair dry naturally, without hairdryer. Comb your hair when it’s completely dry.

Massage. Once in two weeks, massage your scalp with olive, almond or coconut oil. One other thing you can do is to mix one of the mentioned oils with warm water and slowly spill it over your hair. Leave it on for five to ten minutes. It will leave your hair soft but strong. Don’t forget to wash the oil away!
Comb gently. Whether you use a comb or a brush, don’t do it aggressively. Treat your hair gently and tenderly. Never comb while it’s wet because it looses it’s defense mechanism that way. When buying a new brush, choose natural materials.
Don’t wash your hair too often. Once or twice a week is enough!
