Many famous movie assassins made it to the list, but nothing can outplay Freddy Krueger.

The monster that attacked teenagers in their dreams in the cult horror movie “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (1984) still spooks many. The original Krueger was impersonated by Robert Englund, while Jackie Earle Haley did it in remake.

Freddy Krueger was some kind of a pop culture phenomena back in the 80’s but his character still has a strong influence. He is one of a few modern time monsters that can measure up with, for example, Dracula.
